Dead by Daylight is an indie horror game developed and published by Behaviour Interactive. Dead by Daylight is both an action and survival horror multiplayer game in which one crazed, unstoppable Killer hunts down four Survivors through a terrifying nightmarish world in a deadly game of Cat & Mouse. It was released on 14 June 2016 for PC (Steam), 20 June 2017 for Console (XONE/PS4), 24 September 2019 for Nintendo Switch, and 16 April 2020 for Mobile.

• As a Survivor, go in alone or team up with friends to face an unknown threat. Use Items at hand, unlocked abilities, and environmental objects to outwit the Monster and escape from its killing grounds.

• Set in procedurally generated Maps, you'll never know what to expect, what you're facing, and how to get away. You will have to make desperate choices under stressful circumstances. Every decision impacts your chances of survival.

• Killers come from all horror genres, from brutal slashers to terrifying paranormal entities. Master these Monsters' unique Powers and exploit the knowledge of your "home" to track, hunt down, break and sacrifice your victims before they get a chance to escape to safety.

• The asymmetry, procedural factors, and unique thinking of human individuals make each Dead by Daylight trial an unexpected scenario where the combined behavior of each Player creates a truly terrifying and thrilling narrative.

• Dead by Daylight Characters each has a deep progression and Unlockables which can be customized into your own personal strategy. Use your experience, skills, and load-out to climb up the competitive ladder and you might eventually discover the truth beyond The Fog.

My Experience

Playing Dead by Daylight gives me chills and thrills. It lets me feel that I am being chased in real life and I can feel the adrenaline rushing through me. My friends and I call this game "DbD".

I am a survivor main and my favorite survivors are Zarina, Laurie, and David. My three go-to perks are Spine Chill, Iron Will, and Sprint Brust. The last perk will depend on what gameplay I would like to play on that specific game. Below is a list of perks that I would select for my last perk: 

• For the People - I use this perk when I play with friends as I can always communicate with them that I can auto-heal them. This perk is useful for killers that want to slug the survivors. 

• Borrowed Time - I use this perk when I am playing with strangers as I can always give them extra hit points whenever I have unsafely unhooked them.

• Resilience - I definitely love this perk as it synchronizes well with my Spine Chill. It gives additional speed to some of the actions that you can do in the game such as vaulting, opening chests, unhooking, cleansing totems, sabotaging hooks, and opening exit gates.

My most hated killers are Myers, Doctor, and Ghost Face. I hated both Myers and Ghost Face as they give me heart attacks. They're the stealthy type of killers where you'll have to be continually looking at the map or else you'll get grabbed by an instant while doing generators. They'll give you jump scares. As for the Doctor, I hate it when he zaps as my character screams while hiding in the bushes. I am a stealthy type of survivor where I hide in the bushes or blend with the trees.

This is my personal experience but what I noticed in the game is that when I play with a female survivor, it is more agile and easy to control than the male survivors.

What makes Dead by Daylight fun to play is when you play it with friends. The screaming and screeching you'll hear when someone is being chased or someone is being jump-scared to death.

Dead by Daylight's usual price in Steam is ₱499.00. However, during the season sale, the price would go down to ₱199.00.

I would definitely recommend this game!
